Brief History
Michael and Wendy Wilson opened their first Goldsmiths and Jewellery gallery/workshop in Little Latrobe Street, Melbourne in 1974. Their business continually developed in a number of locations until 1984 when they were able to purchase an important historical site at 725 Main Road Eltham. They commissioned architect Rodger Dalling to design a purpose built Gallery/Workshop/Residence on the site. This important building was officially opened by Matcham Skipper, well known Silversmith and Sculptor in November 1985.
This unique building houses a Main Gallery, an Exhibition and Collectors Gallery and a Goldsmiths Workshop. Now, more than thirty years on, Michael and Wendy are still passionate about their business and actively involved. Wendy works in the Sales and Administration area and Michael takes a strong role in design and development in the workshop.
